Can I enter cake analyses 'on the fly' in RUMNUT 5

Problem

Is there a way of modifying one of the cakes in the list as was possible in the version 4 using 'cake analysed ' and then basing it on one in the list and modifying in the same way that it is possible to with silages?

Response

Yes,

You can create a cake called 'Cake analysed' by using FEEDMAN to copy one of the standard cakes to a new location and then editing it. However you can expand the feed database to 990 feeds from within Feedman and add each cake as you go. Now RUMNUT is a full windows program you can run the Dairy module and the Feedman module simultaneously. If you alter feeds in the feed database then just click on the Refresh Feed Lists button in the Select Feeds window to update the displayed lists and any feeds in the ration and/or the mix.

If none of these ways work you may need to contact me further assistance by email.
